First Nations of SEQ

Land for Wildlife South East Queensland acknowledges and pays respect to the Traditional Custodians of SEQ – the Gubbi Gubbi, Kabi Kabi, Jinibara, Dalungbara, Jagera/ Yaggera/Yugara, Turrbal, Ugarapul, Kitabul, Quandamooka, Yugambeh, Ngarang-Wal/ Kombumeri, Mulinjarlie Western Waka Waka, Gitabal/Kitabal People, their Elders and their families.

We recognise that all LfWSEQ properties were once under Indigenous tenure and that First Nations People did not cede their land.

We welcome partnerships with First Nations People to undertake land management and protection of Indigenous cultural heritage.
